Volunteer Opportunities
From time to time, the Civil Air Patrol's Arkansas Wing offers volunteer opportunities for members to serve in leadership capacities at local units, groups, or at the wing level.
It is the regular procedure of the Arkansas Wing leadership to post volunteer job vacancies, allowing members the opportunity to submit their letter of interest, along with any supporting documentation, by the due date to the Director of Personnel. Those interested will be invited to interview (either in person or by virtual means) with an interview panel appointed by the Wing. The names of the members selected by the panel will be forwarded as a recommendation to the reporting Director/ Commander, who holds the authority to approve or reject the appointment.
NOTE: In some rare cases, a vacancy may be filled by the Wing Commander in order to assure continuation of leadership in key areas.
