Encampment Payment:  If you have not done so, please make sure you pay your encampment fee. There are three ways to pay your encampment fee:

  1. CEAP (Cadet Encampment Assistance Program): If you applied for CEAP and were accepted, you will have received an email from NHQ saying that you were approved for CEAP.  Please check your spam folder if you applied but have not heard anything.
  2. Check / Money Order:  You can pay the encampment fee of (Student: $275 /// Cadet Cadre: $175) by check or money order payable to "Arkansas Wing CAP" and providing it to the Finance Officer during in-processing.
  3. Credit / Debit Card: You can also pay by credit card / debit card at the following link.   *** There is a processing fee charged by Eventbrite for this service; this processing fee does not go to CAP.  The processing fee is an additional $20.29 (cadet students) and $13.58 fee (cadet cadre).  This will bring the total paid (encampment fee plus Eventbrite fee) to $295.29 for students and $188.58 for cadet cadre.  (* School Squadrons - please contact Maj. St. Pierre for information about paying cadet fees from a school account)

IMPORTANT:  If you show up to encampment in-processing and you have not paid the fee, then you will need to pay the encampment fee during in-processing.  If you do not pay the fee, you will have to be picked up by parent or guardian; you will not be able to attend encampment.

No "credit" will be provided.  No money, no attendance.

Packing List:

Attached is the finalized packing list for this year's encampment.  Students: Pack exactly what is on the list.  Cadre: You should know what you need - but also anticipate what you might need to do your job.  Just don't bring any no-nos.

Reporting Times and In-Processing Locations (PLEASE READ IN FULL):

  1. CADET CADRE:  Unless you have been told you are a part of the ADVON group, your will report to AR Wing HQ (2201 Crisp Dr) on THURSDAY 27 JUN 2024 between the hours of 1130 and 1430.

  2. STUDENTS: You will report to AR Wing HQ (2201 Crisp Dr) on FRIDAY 28 JUN 2024 between the hours of 1130 and 1430 unless prior arrangements have been approved by the Commandant of Cadets.  Upon arrival, you will enter the building through the door of the parking lot in the fenced area.  You will unload with ALL of your personal property and follow the instructions of the cadre greeting you.  *** Please allow a minimum of 60 minutes from arrival at Wing HQ to clear in-processing and depart for encampment.  The last transport will depart at 1515 hours for encampment.

  • PARENTS bringing cadets can accompany them into the building and through in-processing until the cadet enters the transport staging area.  Parents can then wait for their cadet in a secondary waiting area until the cadet goes out to load for transport to Camp Robinson.  Please feel free to take as many pictures as you desire, however please limit contact in the loading area to a brief farewell as they will be very busy preparing for transport.

  1. SENIOR MEMBERS: Senior Members (except ADVON), please in-process at AR Wing HQ (2201 Crisp Dr) on 27 JUN 2024 between the hours of 1130 and 1430, unless prior arrangements are made with Maj. Podgurski (Deputy Encampment Commander).

  2. ADVON:  If you have been advised that you are ADVON (Seniors and Cadets), in-processing will be from 1000 - 1600 at the DFAC (Bldg 17400, Missouri Ave, Camp Robinson).  If you plan on arriving later, please notify your supervisor (SMs - notify Maj. Podgurski).

Encampment Pick-up (end of encampment):

  1. Encampment is over on Friday, 05 JULY. Cadets may not leave early.
  2. There will be a PASS IN REVIEW parade tentatively beginning at 11:30 on Friday.  *** We say tentative because the starting time is based on how well your children clean the barracks.  We will not start the Pass in Review until after the Army has accepted the facilities for return.  No CAP personnel will be released early (before the Pass in Review).  We all used the facility; we will all clean the facility.

After the Passs in Review is completed, your student will be released in groups to out-process.  This will be done in the following groups.

  1. Those with airline flights
  2. Cadets travelling out of state
  3. Arkansas cadets with a more than 1 ½ hour drive
  4. Arkansas cadets with less than a 1 ½ hour drive

*** Please dress appropriately for the occasion and for the weather.  Be sure to bring hydration (water, etc).  You may bring an umbrella to provide yourself with shade.

From the Encampment Commander:

We are looking forward to having a great encampment this year.  The Senior and Cadet Executive Staff have listened to feedback from previous years and are working hard to include suggestions you guys provided to make 2024 ODF outstanding.  I know that you will be with us on the 4th of July so we have some fun activities planned for that day.  We are working hard to make sure everyone gets to learn leadership, see new things, and meet new people.  We welcome cadets from all wings to come join in the fun as we go into our 4th Operation Diamond Forge.  I encourage everyone – cadre and students, to start working on resilience and perseverance techniques now.  The days are going to be long but packed full of activities so you won’t be bored.

Maj. St. Pierre
